A bit of history: After a corporate career in retail, manufacturing and publishing, Sue Williams launched Colleagues Inc. in New York City. Mining all avenues to amplify sales, we found that a hands-on combination of creating product publicity, identifying niche retailers, and developing special events, brought great results. We created brand awareness and sales for the new-to-the-scene companies. The office became a magnet for curious and innovative retailers and press alike.
For home furnishings clients, eager to show at the International Home Furnishing Market in High Point, NC, we opened TRADE ROUTE on High Point’s Main Street. Retailers came, editors came, the TV cameras came. The showroom and its exhibitors were featured on TV a dozen times during market weeks.
